How to furnish your Dubai apartment for short-term guests.

Luxury apartment interior styled for guest photography

An empty apartment earns nothing. A badly furnished one earns less than it should. Guests scroll through dozens of listings in seconds, so the way a home is furnished decides whether they stop at yours.

The first photo does the selling

Guests choose with their eyes. Before they read a word, they have judged the living room in the first photo. Design for the camera: one clear style, good natural light, and nothing on surfaces that does not need to be there.

Choose one style and commit to it

Homes that mix styles look unfinished in photos. Pick one mood, then let the colours, fabrics and lighting follow it. Design by Rentico works with five signature styles: Olivo, Sumi, Lulua, Lumière and Travertino.

Built for guests, not just for show

Guests use a home harder than an owner does. Choose durable, easy-to-clean fabrics, hotel-grade linen and mattresses, and blackout curtains in every bedroom. Give the kitchen what a guest actually cooks with. Add a proper desk and chair: guests staying a month or more expect to work from the home. Leave space for open suitcases.

Light and finishing touches

Layer the lighting: ceiling, floor lamps and bedside lights. Add art, plants and textiles last, because they are what makes a home look styled rather than furnished.

Furnished in 14 working days

Design by Rentico offers three collections for a 1-bedroom: Essential from AED 25,000 + VAT, Premium from AED 34,000 + VAT and Luxury from AED 44,000 + VAT. Every collection includes furniture, lighting, art and linen, in any of the five styles. Wardrobes are available as an add-on. From the free visit to a guest-ready home takes 14 working days, and Rentico can then manage the home for you.
